BRITANNIA THEATRE.
The role of Mark Sabre in Hutchinson's "If Winter Comes," which has been reproduced for • the screen by William Fox, is a tempest of emotions. This fact was one of the most potent that faced Harry Millarde, the director, when he set about looking for an actor to }>lay the part. But luck was with Millarde. He put his finger on his man very quickly. The man was Percy Marmont. Marmont not only looks like Sabre, but he is him in the flesh. He comprehends the lovable, whimsical nature of Sabre and conveys the charactor to the screen with a" delicate accuracy that is delightful. "If Winter Comes" is playing at the Britannia Theatre, and is supported by a high-class programme.
