SALARY QUESTION
IN P. AND T. SERVICE
ASSOCIATION MOVING.
The Executive Committee of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association met in Wellington to-day, for the purpose' of considering the salary schedules in operation in the Department.' An interview was held with the Secretary of the .Department (Mr. A. T. j Markman) to ascertain whether the Department had formulated any proposals for the consideration of the Service. The executive committee, was advised that the Department had no information to give, and that the matter of altering t;he schedules-was- a.question for the Government. ..
