Orme Bayley (Auckland), won the 100 yards for Magdalen College. He defeated C. S Anderson (Trinity) by 6in.; time, llsec Bayley was third in the long jump, which was won for Hertford College by J B Brewis 19ft 7in, Bayley's distance'being 19ft 3m. Bayley was also third in the 100 yards hurdles, F. E. Ford (Hertford College) winning by four yards: time, lYsec. Miss Frances D. Ellis' (Marlon) spent ,i short time in France in the middle of last year, and on her return to England she took up her studies at the L C C Central School of Art. The subjects' of chic-f interest to her are Life, Design, and Jewellery. Miss Ellis expects to''bo in England for two years.
