CONFERENCE IN LONDON.

Jamieson, general secretary of- the South African Labour Party, Durban, relative to the.forthcoming British Commonwealth J^r \ lie,.^ m of the national secretary to Colonel Creawell were brought before the annual conference or t.ie South African Party at Pretoria on is>,, 2nd, and 3rd January. It had been unammously agreed to send representatives from South Africa to the Labour Conference to be held in London this year The delegates appointed were.— Col. Creswell, D.5.0., M.L.A.; ]Mr. ihomas Boydell, ML A • Mr H AY Sampson AI.L.A.; Mr.' A. ' Bariowi M.L.A.; 31.. E. A. Allaby. Mr. J am : o ! son expressed the opinion that the London Conference would go a ion" wiy towards knitting together the" Labour movement all over the British Empire and that it would be a power of o-ood both politically and economically to the workers.
Mr. Jamieson further stated that if the A.Z.L.P. required any information political or economical, concerning 'South Alrica, he would be pleased -to supply it It was agreed that Mr. J.i ra ieson be thanked for his courteous offer and that satisfaction be expressed that the South African Labour Party was to be represented at the British Commonwealth Labour Conference.
The New Zealand Labour Party will bo represented at the Conference but the delegates will not be elected until the annual Conference of the Party, which is to be held in Dunedin at Easter!
