Mr. Tinkham in his statement, added : "Many causes may be assigned for these amazing and portentous, phenomena of American social decline, the chief of which are the entry ot the church into politics, and the loss of popular respect for the present Congressmen and the laws which they pass ruthlessly destroying the rights of individuals- and property." Mr. Tinkham also blames Prohibition.
