PIANOFORTE RECITAL.
j On Thursday evening, in the Concert Chamber, a pianoforte recital'will be given by Edwin Tanner, assisted by his brother, Claude Tanner ('cellist), and Mr. .Harold Whittle. The -two brothers -are leaving for London by- the Remuera to continue their studies at the Royal Academy of Music, and this recital will be a final opportunity of hearing them1 before their departure. The programme is an attractive one, and includes Rubinstein's Concerto in.D Minor, a work of ■ creat brilliance, seldom heard in. New Zealand. The box plan is at The Bristol.
