AGREEMENT ENDS FOUR WEEKS ■ HENCE.
LONDON, 15th-March. The Daily Herald," explaining the position of the miners, points out that the present wages agreement ends on 17th April. A second reading of the Minimum Wages Bill is fixed for 21st March. This . is' a private member's Bill, but meantime the Government has decided to take all private members' time, owing to the congestion of public business. The Government therefore has decided either to adopt the Bill or to introduce its own measures on similar lines This must have passed all stages before 17th April.
