CRICKET
LAW v. INSURANCE.
The annual cricket match between teams representing the law and insurance officers is being played at the Basin Reserve to-day. Law, in the first innings, were disposed of fjr 78 (Kent 12, James 27, Guise 18). The bowling was done by Milne (five wickets for 19 runs), J. Hutchings (two for 25), and Duff (one for 6). At 2.45 p.m. Insurance, in their first innings', had lost three-wickets for 61 runs (Brent 20 not out, and H. Hutchinga 18 not out).
