SYDNEY, This Day. me Government, has completed, ana will shortly be gazetting, regulations unaer the Monopolies Act. It provide? for the imposition of drastic penaliies for restraining, to the detriment of -the public, trade as regards supplies of goods, or the price of commodities, or the service of such monopoly, or a combination, making such action a. criminal offence. The penalty for the first offence will be a fine of £500, and the second offence is indictable.
