LODGE MEETINGS

The fortnightly meeting of Wellesley Lodge, No. 7 (juvenile branch), 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held on Monday evening, Bro. J. Chrisken, N.G., presiding. Sick pay was passed for a juvenile member who had met with an accident. / A meeting of- delegates from the various local 1.0.0.F.' lodges was held on Monday evening to consider arrangements for a combined welcome being tendered the Dominion Grand Master (Bro. J. Hooper, Auckland).

Wildey Lodge, No. 7, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting at Island Bay on Wednesday, Bro. C. Havill, N.G-, presiding. In addition to routine business, one candidate was elected and initiated and another nominated. A report was made by delegates to the Medical Institute, and appreciation recorded of Bros. Maley and Ward's services in providing a regalia cupboard. Esther Bebekah Lodge, No. 30, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting at Brooklyn, on Wednesday evening, Sister I. Clarke, N.G., presiding. In addition to other business, Sister Escott, elected secretary vice Sister Mason, transferred to Palmerston North, was installed in office by Sister C. Edmanson,

The fortnightly meeting- of Victoria Rebekah Lodge, No. 2, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held at Newtown on Thursday. evening, Sister E. Dorset, N.G., presiding. Four lady candidates were elected and initiated in regular form. One brother was also admitted to. the Rebekah Degree.

Southern Cross Lodge, No. 24, 1.0.0. F., N.Z.-, held its fortnightly meeting on Thursday evening, Bro. H. Amyes, V.G., presiding. In addition to other business, six candidates were nominated.

Arrangements are proceeding for the institution of a city Eebekah Lodge- of the 1.0.0. F., N.Z. A preliminary meeting- of intending lady members will be held shortly for the purpose of selecting charter members, first officers, and completing other details.
