LODGE MEETINGS

The fortnightly meeting of Wellesley Lodge, No. 7 (juvenile branch), 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held on Monday evening, Bro. J. Chrisken, N.G., presiding. The fortnightly meeting- of Victoria Rebekah Lodge, No. 2, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held at Newtown on Thursday. evening, Sister E. Dorset, N.G., presiding. Four lady candidates were elected and initiated in regular form. One brother was also admitted to. the Rebekah Degree.

Southern Cross Lodge, No. 24, 1.0.0. F., N.Z.-, held its fortnightly meeting on Thursday evening, Bro. H. Amyes, V.G., presiding. In addition to other business, six candidates were nominated.

Arrangements are proceeding for the institution of a city Eebekah Lodge- of the 1.0.0. F., N.Z. A preliminary meeting- of intending lady members will be held shortly for the purpose of selecting charter members, first officers, and completing other details.
