EVERYBODY'S THEATRE.
Picture patrons should be more than satisfied with the programme at liverybody's Theatre, presented tor the first time last evening. " lii the main feature, '■The Age of Desire," the leading parts are taken by Myrtle Stedman and William Collier jun.,. and the producer, Frank Borzage, will always be remembered as the man. who made "Humoresque." The story centres about a young woman who loved social life and her son. In a moment of weakness, she sacrificed the latter for a chance to attain worldly ambition by marrying a wealthy bachelor. It was only a short time before she realised her mistake, and the remainder of her life she decides to, devote to the finding of the child that she had forsaken. In the meantime the youngster had found a home for himself, as well as an' occupation .of a clever crook. The complications which follow when the handsome young "Bowery Kid" is produced by the leader of his gang as the supposed son of the woman who had forsaken him are remarkably well shown. The cast is a particularly strong one, and includes Alary Plulbin, whom patrons will recall in The Merry-Go-Round." The supporting films are well up to standard Lively music is provided by Harry Avery's Jazz Band. " "■
