POINCARE'S DILEMMA
OUT OF RUHR OR OUT OF POWER.
(Received 10th March, 8 a.m.)
LONDON, 9th March. The "Sunday Express" says: "The franc isf falling and bringing M. Poineare down .with it. It is his policy and no other that has knocked the bottom out of French credit. The franc, nominally worth 9^4, would only buy 2d yesterday.
"On the other hand, Germany's currency is all but stabilised. M. Poincaie's dilemma is that, if he wants money from Germany in order to save Franca from collapse and himself from ignominious defeat at the coming elections, b.6 must leave the Ruhr and eat every word he has spoken during the past fourteen months." .
