The monthly meeting of the executive of the Ngaio Progressive Association was held last night. , Indignation was expressed at the wanton.damage done to the swings and see-saws recently erected in the Eest Park, and it was decided to seek the assistance, of the police as a warning to those responsible. The dangerous state of the steps to the railway station was again brought before the association, owing to another accident. The Railway Department will be approached again on the subject, and asked to have them either put in order by asphalting, or to form and grade a path to the eastern exit of the sub-way.
