It is interesting to note in connection^ with the oil ' scandal in Federal official circles that President Coolidge has chosen for his bipartisan legal committee of investigation Mr. Silas Brawn, a Chicago lawyer, who is a Republican, and Mr. Thomas Gregory, a New York lawyer, who was Attorney-General dur- , ing the Wilson Administration.
