HOTEL THIEF SENTENCED
A' young man named Stanley Arthur Haydeu appeared before Mr. E. Pagp,S.JI-, at the Magistrate's Court: yesterday afternoon on three counts of* thefts 'from hotels. It was stated by SeniorDetective Cameron that on one occasion Hayden booked at an hotel' under""a fictitious name,_ and disappeared during' the night with £10 and £20, stolen from John Bell Finlayson and-Alfred Kingston respectively. On another-oc-: casiou he had hidden himself in a.oiivateyhotel, and removed £18 from the clothes of a.guest in the early hours oi the morning. Hayden, who pleaded guilty, was sentenced on each of.thr charges, to twelve months' '. imprison' ■ meat, the terms to be -concurrent. •- • •
