PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
The management of the Paramount Theatre extend their apologies'to the hundreds of disappointqd' patrons who ■wore turned away again last night, and to announce that arrangements havo' been made with Long Tack 6am for an extension of the.season of his talented company for a iurther six days and nights as from to-morrow.' The astounding acrobatic feats of Long Tack Sam'i amazing Chinamen brought forth tumultuous applause from the denselycrowded audience laot night. Eaoh extraordinary feat seemed to. be even greater than the preceding one, the ap--plause at times being deafening. The remarkable performance of Long Tack Sam, in which ho dexterously spins two bowls of water, one at each end of an eight-foot length of rope, without spilling a drop of Water, is not ono of tha leaßt ■ extraordinary feats which this talented Chinese artist performs. But in a performance such as this, which occupies tho stage for some forty minutes, so many unusual and absorbingly interesting things are accomplished that it is difficult to individualise. There is no question that Long Tack Sam and' his troupe are providing the most thrilling and bewildering performance that has ever been seen in tho Dominion. The bos plans for the entire season are now open at the Utility Stationery Ptore, adjoining the theatre. Intending patronti ure reminded that Long Tack Sam appears twice daily, at 2.30 and 8 p.m., and ladies and children are urged by the management to attend, the afternoon performance to avoid the uighily crush at the doors.
