PAHIATUA SHOW
(BI TBIXGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION ) PAHIATUA, 30th' January. The annual show, was opened to-day in fine weather. There was a large attendance, and the gate takings were a record. The, new grandstand was used for thel first time.
The Following championships were awarded :—Jerseys \Bull F. V. Byanfc; cow, E. S. Holdaway. l'riesians: 'Bull, P. C. Neilsen. Milking Shorthorns: Bull and two heifers, S, Bolton. The principal hunters competition was won by \V. H. Oliver's Gav Willie.
