Recent patents include an Australian invention of a plant for the utilisation of the rolling of ships for motive power, achieved by an ingenious distribution of weights,, which swing from side to side with the roll of the ship. These are connected with propellers. It is claimed that the device will cheapen ships' motive power. ,
