FIBRE SITUATION.
The High Commissioner, reporting on the hemp market, London, 26th January, advises the Department of Agriculture as follows:— "Hemp.—Manila market steady and uo business reported. Quotations for Jau-uary-March shipments, £34 5s to £34. 10s per ton sellers, and business has been done at these prices. New Zealand market continues quiet, and quotations nominally unchanged."
