QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The Merry Go Round," which is now showing at the Queen's Theatre, is without doubt one of the most arresting pictures ever screened here. It is a glittering spectacle of life in Vienna, possessing a gripping story of the revel"es a^, .luxury of an emperor's court. Mary Philbin, a new screen beauty, and Norman. Kerry, aided by a specially selected cast, act with realism amid settings of magnificence. The music rendered by the Queen's Symphony Orchestra, has been specially arranged for the Merry Go Bound," and it is a distinct adjunct to a thorough understanding of the story. There fs an excellent lupporting programme. 'TO THE LAST MAN/1 The genuine backwoodsman is apparently replacing the scenic, carpenter in the construction of motion picture sets for work on location. On this trip into the wilds, the carpenters were left wh ' a ,jd,a grou P °* axemen enlisted who could hew real logs rather than juggle papier mache. A reproduction of a settlement consisting of twelve dwell-' Ult S 6 f Wer Stories of which w«e built of stone, was made. Loes and rough-hewn boards and shingles were useel to complete the buildings.
