MAINTENANCE CASES
Maintenance orders were made :— James M'Carthy, arrears £7 10s, sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as £!i 10s per week is paid. Separation, maintenance, and' guardianship orders were made in. favour of Rose Gray against her husband, Robert Gray, who was ordered to .pay £1 5s per week.
Mr. R. D. Hanlon,1 J.P., presided at the Mount Cook Police Court yesterday, when fivo first offenders for" drunkenness were dealt witlr. Thomas Henry Reeves and Robert Muirhead, second offenders for insobriety, were each fined £1, in default 48 hours' imprisonment. John Hanna was fined- 10s in default 24 hours' imprisonment, and Henry Greenfield, making his fourth appearance, was fiiied £2, in default 14 days' imprisonment.
