WELLINGTON CENTRE'S CARNIVAL
The. carnival to be held at Te Aro Baths.next Saturday afternoon under the management of the Wellington Centre o< the New Zealand Swimming Association promises to be one of the most successful held locally for some time. The presence of members of the Canterbury team, which is at present' competing, atthe national championships at Wanganui, will ensure racing of a. very interesting order. Included in the southern team will be Miss Gwitha Shand, one of the world's foremost lady swim-' mers, whose performances this season have been remarkably good. An excellent prcgramma of events has been arranged, and those who attend.should be provided with good entertainment. '
