MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. C. B. Orr-Walker, S. M., *presided at to-day's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. Two first offenders for drunkenness were each fined 10s, the amount of their bail, and another first offender was convicted and discharged. . Robert William Wilson, alias William Wilson, on a charge of drunkenness, was fined £5, in default twenty-one daya' imprisonment. This was his fifth appearance in Court. A sentence of one month's imprisonment was imposed on William John Newmah, alias Mewman, who was found at 2.40 a.m. last Sunday, without lawful excuse, on premises. . . ■ ; A first-offending inebriate was fined 10s at Lower Hutt Court this morning ■ before Mr. W. C. James, J.P.
Messrs. Vino and Wilson will sell household furnituro and effects on the premises, at 1.50 p.m., 011 .Wednesday.
