ARMED BANDITS
DARING DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.

PARIS, 27th January. Armed bandits carried put a daring daylight robbery at Osterdag's famous jeweller's shop in the heart of the fashionable shopping quarter. Three welldressed men entered and felled the doorkeeper with blows from an iron bar, then shot the manager in the abdomen and head, mortally wounding him. They decamped with valuable booty.
