HOROWHENUA (LEVIN) SHOW
The entries for the Horowhenua Show, to be held on the Levin Racecourse on Wednesday and Thursday, 30th and 31st January, are satisfactory, and show a slight increase all round on the previous year. In the horse classes there promises to be some very high classed competitors. The cattle section has filled remarkably well Sheep have also made a forward move. In the pig classes there are some forty-odd entries, as against twenty-eight the previous year. Numer ous applications have been made for ground space for side-shows and other exhibitors.
