HAMILTON, This Day. The South Auckland branch, of th« Railway Officers' Institute carried the following resolution: "That, owing to the rapidly-increasing cost of living, -we consider the time has arrived to request that the reduction of salaries under the Public Service "Adjustment Act be reinstated, and the Minister pressed to re-establish the Wages Board previously constituted.'.'
Messrs. C. W. Price and Co., 78, Lambton quay, will sell furniture in the Mart to-morrow, at 1.30 p.m: On Wednesday they will offer furniture at Linwood, 114, Ohiro road, Brooklyn.
