Further rain has fallen in Hawkes Bay, and scattered showers are reported in other parts of, the Dominion, but the weather has been generally fair, though duli at times. Atmospheric pressure..is now high to the eastward, and low both to the north-west and south-w«st of the Dominion. According to the Director of the Meteorological Office, the forecast is for a falling barometer everywhere soon, with warm and humid <;onditions, increasing cloud and haziness, with a change likely to come early next week. Moderate to strong breezes prevailing, increasing, and then backing tr northerlies. . ' '
