REFORM PARTY'S RECEPTION
Arrangements are being made by the Wellington-executive of the New Zealand Political Reform League to accord the Right Hon. the Prime Minister, as the Leader of the Party, a welcome at the Town Hall on the evening of Wednesday, 6th February. At its meeting last evening the executive dispatched a congratulatory telegram to Mr. Massey, cordially, welcoming that gentleman on his return to New Zealand, and assuring him of the loyal co-operation and support of its members in his efforts for the advancement of the country and Empire; expressing appreciation of his splendid record of service, aiid trusting he may be long spared to carry on the duties of his high and important office, Mr. J. J. Clark, as chairman of the meeting, signing the telegram on Us behalf. The committees set up at the initial meeting at Which the party reception to Mr. Massey was decided upon presented progress1 reports showing.that thearrangements were well in hand. Sir Francis Bell, G.C.M.G., has been asked to preside over the meeting, which will be of a varied and interesting character. Tickets of admission are in the hands of a representative committee whose namoS will be advertised a day or two, from whom they may be obtained by those desiring to attend the function.
