The King, on Mr. Baldwin's advice, has appointed a *'me Arts Commission tr. advise the Government regarding public statues, town-planning, landscape gardening, public parks, and flic decoration of public buildings. ThS commission includes the Earl of Crawford Marquis Curzon, Sir Aston Webb, Sir Edwin Lutyens, Sir .George Frampton Mr. D.. Y. Cameron, and Mr. T. h' Mawspn, the town-planner.
Sir Aston Webb and Sir Edwin t^utyens are Britain's most distinguished architects; Sir George Ffamptr.f is iv leading Artist and Messrs. Cameron and Maws'ou arc authoritios 'on the agstlietica of cities.
