KING'S THEATRE.

"Merry-Go-Round," which has taken Wellington by storm, and broken all theatre records, will be screened for the last time to-night at the King's Theatre. It is a mammoth production, on a scale which can only be undertaken by film people like Universal. Patrons are urged to book their seats. The King's Theatre is certainly keeping up the standard it has already set in pictorial and musical entertainments in this city, and to-morrow night's programme is of a very high, order. The main feature is "Remembrance, 11! a picture not only written, but also directed by,the worldfamed author, Rupert Hughes, and has an alt-star cast, including Claude Gillingwater, Patsy Ruth Miller, and Cnllen Landis. The photoplay is a companion picture to "The Old Nest," which was one of the really big pictures of last year,. "Remembrance doas for father what "The Old Nest" did for mother. He comes first after everyone else, but in the end he comes out strong. "Pop" Grout is the head of a housebold which .has developed into "spenders." They look upon "Pop" as a "good thing" to be worked to the limit —and Pop works to the limit for his family. When the limit is reached Pop has an illness which nearly carries him off, and the family awake to a belated sense of his importance just in time. The supporting programme will include the million dollar baby star, Baby Peggy, in a comedy entitled "Carmen Junior," and, as an added attraction Miss Elsie Kell, Wellington's brilliant soprano, will render choice musical numbers. The King's Select Orchestra, with Mr. Austin as musical director, has arranged a special programme. The box plan is at The Bristol, and after 5.30 at the theatre.
