On Monday next Dr. Ewen and Mr W n S,\ Wil?°\ wiU sPeak afc a meeting called by the Mayor of Dannevirke and a. campaign will be started in that district. An endeavour is being made to arrange meetings for the following night at Palmerston North and on Wednesday night' at Feilding. The committee hopes that a vigorous campaign will be started in those districts and that their quota will be raised. It must be again impressed on residents in those districts that tho treatment will be as equally available to them as to Wellington citizens, and will no doubt be availed of by them. J

The campaign is being pushed on in Blenheim, and substantial help is expected from that district.

Arrangements are being made for a campaign in the city on the 31st January, when those who have riot yet contributed Will bo waited on.

The suggestion was made by Mr TV. S. Wilson at a meeting of the Radium Fund Committee last evening 'that as the end of the month is drawing near and the Radium Fund has not realised the sum which has been named as the goal of the effort, a few paid organisers should be employed for the purpose of securing the balance of the money. After a vigorous discussion, which lasted about three-quarters of an hour, the idea was defeated, the lady members of the committee undertaking to enlist the services of twenty friends.- These' ladies will canvass several blocks of the city which were not covered in ' the previous drive on account of a shortage o£ workers.
