On- their arrival, householder, . named Houston, informed them that ha " had heard noise in a room, and when he investigated a man had seized him . by the throat. He succeeded in pinnine the man to a couch, but a second-man jumped in through a window, and reeased the intruder. Both attacked and , badly maltreated Houston, -and then escaped.
