(Received 24th January, 11 a.m.)
LONDON, 23rd January,
A Soviet communique says: "Comrade Lenin died on the hills near Moscow. His health recently considerably improved, but his condition suddenly became worse, and ho lost consciousness, and died-of paralysis of the respiratory centres. The All-Russian Congress of the Soviets is now sitting-at Moscow to take the necessary decisions to continue Comrade Lenin's work. The Soviet Government stands firm at its post, watchful over me conquests of the proletarian revolution."!
