LONDON, 22nd January. "It is not a moment for elation. It is a terrible responsibility. Fail or succeed, no Government responsible for affairs will more honestly try to serve." In these words Mr. Macdonald replied to congratulations on the result of the division.
Mr. Macdonald embarks on hie historic adventure, assisted with much sympathy. '
