PRINCESS THEATRE.
Owing to the indisposition of "Kavel-. lo," the vaudeville portion of the programme at the Princess Theastre will be deleted from to-day. In its place a very strong attraction will be screened, featuring the ever-popular.Gloria Swanson in "Her Gilded Cage." The story hinges on the life of a' crippled girl and her sister who becomes a great actress, notorious mostly on account of her intimacy with a king. A plain American fallß in love with her and finds that the scandal of the actress and the king has no foundation. . There is an excellent cast in addition to the star, in which the most prominent players are David Powell, Harrison Ford, Anne Cornwall, Walter Hiers, and Charles A. Stevenr son. The supporting programme includes Ina Claire in "Polly with' a Past," a very amusing story of intrigue and love, also Eddie.Barry and Vera Reynolds in "Tamele-o," an unusual comedy, with a Mexican setting.
