SYDNEY, 22nd January. The Arbitration Court fined the Operative Bakers' ■Union £50, with £21 costs, for participation in an illegal strike. . .. . '.'. .. ' V ■
The application for the deregisifcration of the union has been postponed for a fortnight. On Monday the Arbitration Court commenced hearing an application of the master bakers 'for the Court to call on the Operative Bakers' Union- to show cause : First, why a penalty for , taking part in an illegal strike, should no» be imposed; secondly, why the uniw should not be deregistered.
