AIRSHIP AGREEMENT

ARRANGEMENTS INCOMPLETE.

(REDTER'S TSLEGRAH.)

LONDON, 22nd January. In the House of Commons, replying to Mr. S. R. Wells, Sir Samuel Hoare (Secretary of State for Air) said that the settlement of the details of an airship agreement had proved a complicated matter, and, although at an advanced state, were not yet complete. He arranged that the promoters of the scheme should start the preliminary work at the Cardington aerodrome, in Bedfordshire, as soon as the terms of the necessary legal documents were settled.

The agreement must be submitted for Parliament's approval before it could be fully inaugurated.
