VISIT OF A CANADIAN TEAM. %

SYDNEY, This Day. The Commonwealth Football Association has received word from England that a team will be sent to Australia in 1925. The Canadian offer to send a team on a three months' tonr has been accepted, and' a cable has been dispatched to England asking that ah Australian team b e received during the 1924----25 season on a "pay all, take all" basis. The expense of the Canadian tour is estimated at £7500. It has been decided to raise £2000 immediately, £1000 in New South Wales, £500 in Queensland, £150 in Victoria, £150 in South Australia, £150 in Westralia, and £50 in Tasmania. In the event of the New Zealand Association making an arrangement for the team to visit the Dominion, West Australia and Tasmania will be eliminiftod. The team is expected to arrive on 27th May.
