While' at Huddersfield (writes "The Post's" London correspondent) a morbidly interesting letter dealing with a visit paid to the Bay of Islands in 1839, was handed over-to Mr. Massey.. It was written by a certain Frederick Dickinson, who. was oil a trading vessel, and addressed to "John Dickinson, Holmfirth, Huddersfield." Relatives of the family have retained it until the present time. Mr. Massey intends to deposit it in the Turnbull Library.
