BOYS' LEAGUE. Teams representing the Fourth Grade (Wellington Cricket Association) and the Boys' League Senior Grade played a match at the Basin Reserve yesterday. Good form was shown by members of both elevens, and in the batting department Noot (Institute), who'has been responsible for good scorinf throughout the season, gave a'splendid display. The senior boys, in their second batting effort, had lost five -wickets for 149, runs when stumps were drawn—L; Douglas (Central Mission) 59, Harris 30 not out, De Souza 19, and D. Mason 17. ' BIBLE-CLASS MATCH. At Kelburn Park, yesterday a cricket match was played between the combined Anglican Bible classes of Ngaio and Khandallah and those of St. Mark's and St. Jude's (Lyafl Bay). Tho town team batted first, but after four wickets had fallen for 44 runs the rot set in and the team was all out for 48, of which Kelling scored 25. The suburban team did much better with the bat, their effort realising 197, to which Mathews contributed 87. The city team did little better in their second strike, the innings closing for 57 (Smith 37).
