Bremner 10, Wylie 8. A "POST MORTEM." FOR SIX. An "inquest" was held by Bremner before playing.his bowls'-at the twelfth head, and as a result of the "post-mor-tem he resolved to knock out Wylie's two shot bowls with.the idea of getting o. To win the championship Wylie had to score 6 points on the 25th head, and this proved to be an insuperable task. Certainly the Newtown rink had two counters when the skips went down, but Bremner was not making any mistakes; He shifted the jack slightly with his first bow], but drew the shot with his second. Wylie's sole chance now was to burn the head, and this he just failed to, do. Bremner 29, Wylie 23. At the conclusion of the game, Mr. J., Brown,, president of the Dominion Bowling Association, presented the rinks championship banner to Bremner's team. In a brief speech he congratulated the winners on their successful play and stated that the trophy was going back to Auckland, from whence it had come this season, having been won last year by A. Parson's rink, Ponsonby. Mr. Brown then called for cheers for both winners and losers. Messrs. Bremner and Wylie briefly responded. '
