EVERYBODY'S THEATRE.

A new departure has been made by the proprietors of Everybody's Picture Theatre by the introduction of a full jazz band—that of Mr. H. G. Avery, late of The Ambassador. The days when the jazz band was merely a noise-making combination axe past, especially at pictures, and the object is now to have the band work in -with the incidents in the pictures. The effect is particularly good when the pictures are of the comedy or comedy-drama variety. "Stable Companions," a racing story, is the main attraction of the present programme. The story is of twoyoung men, who are rivals to the fortune of a rich uncle: Besides the two fine horses which have to carry the colours of the two_ men, and race .their way to the front against manufactured difficulties, there is a particularly fine dog. whose part in the story is a clever one. The supports are varied and interesting.
