WANGANUI, This Day. That J^ew Zealand fpeed swimming is being greatly improved as the result ' of junior and intermediate contests has t already been proved by past performances of Fairgray (Auckland), and Claridge l(Wellington). A further demonstration was afforded last night, .wljen Norman Dowsett, who is not yet 17 years of age, swam 100 yards, in 61 l-ssec. Dowsett will be representing Wangimui in the New Zealand intermediate championships. .
