SUICIDE BY THE WAYSIDE

WHAKATANE, 12th Dec. Patrick Ryan, aged 40, a single man, was found dead by tho wayside on the Waimana road, in the TJrewera, on Monday afternoon, "with his throat cut hy a razor. Deceased was a. timbercutter in the employ of the Public Wovks Department. The verdict at the inquest yesterday was that deceased commiUed suicide while of unsound mind.
