AN APPEAL

Through your courtesy and the kindness of the public, nearly 170 picnics have been hald for the men of the sea, wet or fine, winter and summer, in the period named above, and it is sincerely hoped that in spite of the slump, at least a little brightness will find its way into the holidays for men who are away from home, at a time \yhen home means so much to a man. Any gift in money or kind will, as oi Ua-i'j be Sratefully acknowledged, bnould any of your readers desire to inspect the buildings so kindly given by the late Mrs. M. A. Williams, they will be gladly shown over at any hour of the day.—l am, etc., , .JAS. MOORE, Missioned • ,A,i The Sailors' Friend Society. 10th December. - : ;
