■ The Basin Reaerve is the children's play and sports ground to-day, thousands •ofVboys and girls from the primary of the city and nearby districts • being assembled there for an annual outing- that has become exceedingly popular '—-the sports meeting under the auspices of the Wellington Public Schools' Amateur Athletic Association.
