LODGE MEETINGS

Court .Lady Glasgow, No. 8261, A.0.F., met foi nomination of-officers on Thursday last. The: following were nominated:— For C.R., Sisters E. Bull and H. Lawton; S.C.E., Sister S. A. Brown; S.W., Sister Ida Hutchinson; J.W., Sister A. Phillips; 5.8., Sister E. Corby and E. Bull; J. 8., Sister E. Roberts; Secretary, Sister N. Hutchinson; -Treasurer, Sister A. E. Parker"; Minute Secretary, Sister A. Wilson. One candidate was ■ initiated.

The monthly meeting of Wellington District (No. 5) Lodge, 1.0.0. F., N.Z was held in Southern Cross Hall. Courtenay place, last week, the District Deputy Grand Master (Bro. F. N. Lee, 1.G.), presiding. Three members of the Order eligible were advanced to 'the "pink 1' degree. The Medical-Fund, Hospital Fund, and Christmas Tree committees reported progress. Bro. G. Clarke, P.G., was appointed to represent Distrifct Lodge at next meeting of Waipoua Lodge, No. 99, Masterton. The third meeting of Muritai .Lodge, w•- P' :I:0-P-F-. -N-.Z., was held in Wright and -Kenwig's Hall, Rona Bay, Wednesday-evening,- sth instant, Bro. J E. C. Turner, N.G.; presiding: There was a large attendance of members. An officia' visit was received from the Chief Patriarch (Bro. C. T. Sullivan, P.D.W.G.M.) and officers of Port Nicholson Encampment, No. 6, 1.0.0. F., Wellington. Ten candidates were proposed and, with others nominated last meeting, will be initiated into the Order at the next fortnightly meeting. Arrangements made by the executive for entrance' medical examination and dis-pensjry-services were ratified, and medical services systems discussed. Arrangements were also made for a social dance Wildey Lodge, No. 107, 1.0.0.F.', X.Z.. held its fortnightly meeting at St. Hilda's Schoolroom, Island Bay, on Wednesday evening, Bro. J.
