' The Town that Forgot God." which is being shown this week at'Shc-rtt's Theatre, was directed by Harry Mil-: larde, who will be remembered as the creator, of "Over the' Hill." We have had love stories and love stories, stories of mother love, puppy love, father love,: and clandestine love, but never .before has the supreme devotion of a child for his mother been the basis of a: theme _for a photo-drama. The flood scene alone is enough to make anyone want to go and see the picture over again, for never before has such a thrill been offered the lovers of the silent drama. The supports are good, and a capable orchestra plays a fine programme of up-to-date music. ... ■ ;
