WELCOME FALL IN DUNEDIN
(BI TSLEGBAT-H.—SPICJAI, TO IHS F0(T.):
DUNEDIN, This Day. There is a break in the weather'conditions at last, and rain, though not very heavy, set in yesterday morning. The long spell of hot dry weather caused pasture to wither, and practically put a atop to farm work in preparation for turnip sowing. The water shortage for stock has been acutely felt in many quarters. Yesterday's rainfall was welcomed on every hand. A good rain is also falling in Southland after six week*' dry spell.
