NEW YORK, 10th December. Ilay Tonkins, a wealthy Milwaukee manufacturer, has confessed to the murder of his wife. Detectives found the woman's forgo in a saqk hidden among ferns in a. ravine. When confronted with the remains, Tonkins broke down, and told how he had ohokcd his wife to death, cut off her head, and burned it in a furnace; and .carried the remainder of the dismembered body in a motor-car to tho ravine.
